Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OrbiBond network bonding platform, the OrbiStream mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Orbi Sports ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
OrbiBond provides network bonding technology that aggregates multiple internet connections (WiFi, cellular, Ethernet) into a single, more reliable connection for live video streaming and data transfer. The Service includes:
- › OrbiStudio — iPad application for live video production, multi-source switching, encoding, graphics overlays, and multi-destination streaming.
- › OrbiStream App — Mobile application for iOS and Android that captures and streams video over bonded connections.
- › OrbiBond Server — Self-hosted or managed server software that receives, merges, and forwards bonded streams.
- › OrbiBond SDK — Software development kit for integrating bonding into third-party applications.
You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your API keys.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@orbisports.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Pay As You Go
The default licensing mode. You are billed per active seat per month based on your usage. Seats are unlimited; you pay only for what you use.
Volume Licensing
Pre-purchase seats in any quantity at volume-discounted rates. Volume licenses enforce a hard cap on concurrent sessions equal to the number of seats purchased. Additional seats can be added at any time through the customer portal.
Payment Terms
Fees are billed monthly in advance for volume licenses and in arrears for pay-as-you-go usage. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Free Tier
Servers without a license key operate in community tier, which provides up to 5 concurrent sessions with basic bonding. The community tier is provided as-is with no service level guarantees.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- › Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- › Transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- › Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the OrbiBond server binary or SDK.
- › Circumvent license enforcement, session limits, or authentication mechanisms.
- › Use the Service to conduct DDoS attacks, port scanning, or any form of network abuse.
- › Share API keys or license keys with unauthorized third parties.
- › Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
The Service, including the OrbiBond server software, OrbiStream app, SDK, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Orbi Sports and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of all content you transmit through the Service.
If you self-host the OrbiBond server, you are responsible for your own infrastructure, security, backups, and compliance with applicable laws. We provide the server software as a Docker image and are not responsible for your hosting environment.
Self-hosted servers may connect to our license validation service at license.orbisports.io. This is required for paid licenses and may be disabled for offline-licensed deployments.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Managed hosting customers receive service level commitments as specified in their hosting plan. Self-hosted deployments are not covered by any SLA.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBI SPORTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, DATA, OR BROADCAST CONTENT, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
The following terms apply to OrbiStudio and any other Orbi Sports application distributed through the Apple App Store (each, a "Licensed Application").
Acknowledgement
You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Orbi Sports only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Orbi Sports, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content. This agreement may not provide usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Scope of License
The license granted to you for the Licensed Application is a limited, non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The Licensed Application may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Maintenance and Support
Orbi Sports is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the Licensed Application. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
Warranty
Orbi Sports is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Licensed Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Orbi Sports' sole responsibility.
Product Claims
You acknowledge that Orbi Sports, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property Rights
You acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of the Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Orbi Sports, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms of Agreement
You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application, including your wireless data service agreement.
Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
